Abstract submission guidelines
We are glad to have received numerous abstract submissions. Appreciating the strong interest, the deadline has been extended from May 1st to May 15th!
  • All submissions must be completed by May 15th, 2019.

  • All abstracts must be submitted in English.

  • Do not include the name or personal information of any patient participating in the study or trial.

  • Recommended subsections included in the abstracts: Objectives and Hypothesis, Methods, Findings, and Conclusions.

  • We accept jpg and pdf file for figure upload.

  • The submitted abstracts will be evaluated and scored by experts. The best abstracts will be selected for oral presentations. Acceptance letters will be sent by email. Information about your oral presentation date and time will be included in the acceptance letter.

  • Presenters who meet eligibility criteria are encouraged to compete for Early Stage Investigator Award.

  • Accepted abstracts will be automatically entered for a competing for the Best Oral Presentation and the Best Poster Presentation Awards.

 

Early Stage Investigator Award Eligibility Criteria
  1. Candidates must be in training or have completed training no more than seven years ago. Training is defined as any clinical, graduate or post-graduate training.

  2. Candidates may be from any country.

  3. Candidates may be from any field of research or clinical practice.

  4. Candidates must submit an abstract as the first author to the SIGN Annual Conference.

  5. Candidates must have primarily conducted the research presented in the abstract.

  6. Candidates must be members of SIGN and must register for the Annual Conference and must present their abstract at the Meeting.

  7. Awardees may be asked to write a brief report after the Conference and to complete a short post-meeting evaluation.
